Job Title: OSP Engineer - II/Telecommunications Engineer

Location: Fort Washington, Pennsylvania

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $50 - $70/Hrs

**About the Role**

We are seeking a Telecommunications Engineer who will be responsible for engineering routine outside plant work orders, specifically focusing on pole work. The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide field support to outside plant workforces.

**Responsibilities**

• Engineer routine outside plant work orders for pole work.
• Project manage multiple telecommunications projects concurrently.
• Provide field support to outside plant workforces.
• Conduct field surveys of existing utility poles and identify all facilities on the poles.

**Education Qualification**

• A degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field is preferred.

**Required Skills**

• Familiarity with the design of Telecommunications Outside Plant Facilities.
• Knowledge of Utility Pole Design.
• Proficiency in Computer Drafting Systems.
• Strong skills in M S Excel.
• Ability to conduct field surveys and identify facilities on utility poles.

**Desired Skills**

• Previous experience as a design engineer.
• Knowledge of VZ Systems.
• Understanding of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).
• Proficiency in Outlook and Word.
