Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager
Location: Tampa, FL /Tempe, AZ
Duration: 6 months (Possibility of Extension)
Pay Range: $50/hr- $58/hr

Work Model
Hybrid—four times on-site, one day remote

Purpose

• Own end-to-end strategic sourcing and category management to drive cost savings, reduce risk, and improve value/quality across the bank
  Build and sustain value-based relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, serving as the subject-matter expert in negotiations, performance management, and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development & Execution

• Develop category- and commodity-level sourcing strategies aligned to business goals
• Lead RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to maximize total value and minimize risk
• Track and report on savings, compliance, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives

Stakeholder & Supplier Management

• Partner with internal customers to understand objectives and integrate them into sourcing plans
• Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to ensure contract performance and drive improvement

Market Research & Analysis

• Perform in-depth market and cost-structure analyses to inform sourcing decisions
• Monitor industry trends, diversify the supply base, and optimize the total cost of ownership

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree plus ~10 years’ relevant sourcing/procurement experience (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
• Proven track record delivering results across a broad spend portfolio in a large, matrixed organization
• Strong leadership and people-management skillset (coaching, team building, influencing)
• Experience with budget, workload, and headcount management; delegated decision-making authority
• Excellent business acumen, strategic vision, analytical judgment, and negotiation skillset.
