Job Title: Cloud Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Client Industry: Banking Client

Duration: 12+ months contract to hire

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Business /IT and/or equivalent work experience
• 5 or more years of Project Management experience
• PMP Certification
• 3+ years' experience managing large, complex, cross–functional IT projects
• 3+ years' experience utilizing a structured project management methodology and formal tools/approaches
• Strategic and tactical planning on Cloud
• Firm grasp of IT infrastructure and operations best practices within an ITIL framework
• Experience of network concepts and technology including WAN, LAN and IP network principles
• Experience of applying defined security principles within a project or solution deployment
• Hands-on experience in open-source software development and web technologies
• Hands-on experience of agile project management

Day To Day:

• Manage the technical delivery of projects, ensuring that all project deliverables are met within agreed upon timelines and budget
• Ensure that all project documentation is complete and accurate
• Monitor project progress and identify any potential risks or issues
• Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to ensure that they are meeting their obligations
• Prepare reports on project progress for senior management
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
• Coordinate and lead project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder presentations
• Analyzing project performance metrics and identify areas for process optimization
• Facilitate the resolution of technical issues and escalate concerns to appropriate stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project deliverables with business objectives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security protocols, and organizational policies
• Plan, track and proactively manage strategic and customer projects

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $75 to $78 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
