Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail oriented Quality Inspector to support inspection and testing activities within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards by performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections. The ideal candidate will follow standardized procedures and accurately document inspection results. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and supporting efficient production operations. It is well suited for candidates starting their career in quality or manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspection of components and finished products to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Conduct dimensional inspections using basic measurement tools and gauges
- Execute functional testing including pressure and force testing as required
- Record inspection and testing data in accordance with documented procedures
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions consistently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure product quality and production efficiency
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of inspection results
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Zero to two years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment
- Experience performing visual and dimensional inspections
- Familiarity with inspection tools such as gauges and hand tools
- Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
- Ability to follow written procedures and document results accurately
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with optical measurement equipment
- Knowledge of inspection sampling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and support overtime as needed
