About the Role

We are hiring an Application Support Engineer to join our client’s production support team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced financial environment supporting mission-critical applications. You’ll help ensure system stability, troubleshoot real-time issues, and support business continuity in a high-impact setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support production applications to ensure high availability and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in real-time
• Analyze system errors, logs, and performance metrics to identify root causes
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution
• Provide timely communication and updates to stakeholders during incidents
• Support deployment activities and ensure adherence to operational processes
• Work in a high-pressure environment with strict SLAs and quick turnaround times

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Application/Production Support or similar roles
• Strong experience with WebLogic (including WebLogic Portal) and/or IIS
• Working knowledge of Java-based applications
• Experience with web servers such as Apache
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk or Dynatrace (preferred)
• Exposure to job scheduling tools like Autosys (nice to have)
• Experience with Pega reporting (nice to have)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
