Duration: 6 months

- The Project Manager independently manages projects of medium to large scale that are significant in scope. Ensures projects remain on time/within budget, certifies project goals and success markers are met. This position collaborates with project teams, functional owners, and project sponsors supporting and executing the full project lifecycle to achieve specific business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Defines, develops, and manages overall project plans to ensure work is assigned and completed on time
- Assesses and manages risk throughout the project lifecycle; collaborates with stakeholders and managers on mitigation plans
- Guides teams through project structuring, problem definition, issue identification, and solution development
- Works independently to draft project-ready deliverables with minimal management review
- Applies project management tools, templates, and methodologies to manage medium to large-scale projects
- Maintains ownership of timelines and deliverables across all project phases to ensure execution aligns with plans
- Translates strategy into actionable deliverables based on business needs
- Identifies, engages, and partners with cross-functional teams to achieve project outcomes
- Provides project and departmental status reporting
- Executes departmental tasks as assigned
- Manages multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining accountability for all deliverables
- Position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and not eligible for overtime pay
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum three (3) years of project management experience
Preferences:
- Master’s degree
- Three (3) years of banking or financial services experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to create and deliver impactful large-scale project communications with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (PMBOK, ITIL, SDLC, Agile, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage time and multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
