Job Title: Technical Support Technician / Operations
Employment Type: Contract (6+ Months)
Location: New Carlisle, IN – 46552 (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Pay: $20-$24/hr

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Center Technician on the Infrastructure Delivery (ID) team, you will support the deployment, maintenance, and expansion of large-scale data center infrastructure. Responsibilities include:

Infrastructure & Deployment

• Monitor incoming tickets, project requests, and change orders.
• Plan and implement assigned projects following established processes and standards.
• Estimate project requirements including time, resources, and cost.
• Follow all change management procedures throughout project execution.

Physical Network & Hardware Work

• Deploy and maintain structured cabling and network hardware.
• Work hands-on with vendors for installations and ensure quality of work.
• Troubleshoot cabling, network connections, and physical components during deployment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Network TPMs, engineers, and internal teams.
• Provide clear and timely updates to all stakeholders.
• Stay current with new technologies, hardware, and process updates.

Safety & Standards

• Maintain strict adherence to safety, security, and data center operational standards.
• Lift, rack, and move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs as required.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of cabling and networking experience.
• 1+ year of experience working in a data center environment (or similar hands-on hardware environment).
• Basic understanding of IT hardware, servers, and network components.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 lbs safely.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed work instructions.
