Pay Range: $18 to $20 per hour.

Job Mode: Remote for the candidate in Illinois.

Contract Duration: 7 to 8 Months with possibility of extension

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail oriented Lab Technician to support global laboratory operations within a large enterprise environment. This role focuses on supporting Laboratory Information Management Systems and quality system processes across multiple sites. The candidate will collaborate with global teams to ensure smooth execution of laboratory projects and digital initiatives. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support global laboratories with projects related to Laboratory Information Management Systems including Thermo SampleManager.
• Collaborate with global quality systems teams to create and route document change controls and update procedures and training materials.
• Coordinate with global and site stakeholders to manage inventory related requests and ensure accurate tracking.
• Assist with global digital readiness initiatives and support project activities as required.
• Provide administrative support to laboratory quality systems and ensure compliance with internal processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in laboratory administration or supporting laboratory quality systems.
• Hands on experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems.
• Scientific background with experience following analytical test methods.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Thermo SampleManager.
• Background as a laboratory analyst with chromatography exposure.
• Experience working in multi site or global laboratory environments.
