- We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Lead to backfill a critical role within Global Marketing’s PMO.
- This is a strategic individual contributor position focused on driving transformation initiatives, managing program financials, business casing, and supporting senior leadership with insights and governance.
- You will act as a key business partner to the Global Marketing team, overseeing portfolio financials, risks, and delivery while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- This role offers significant exposure, learning opportunities, and a strong chance for conversion to a full-time employee (FTE).
- Partner with Global Marketing teams to drive strategic priorities and transformation initiatives
- Represent the team on cross-functional projects, identify risks/issues, escalate when needed, and recommend solutions
- Lead special projects including competitive benchmarking, process improvement, and measurement of marketing value
- Champion strategic goals and influence direction through thoughtful analysis and alignment with Marketing strategy
- Support annual planning and business casing for key marketing programs
- Manage end-to-end program and portfolio financials, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost & benefit tracking
- Ensure financial compliance with accounting standards, including IFRS 17, capitalization policies, and accruals
- Apply program delivery frameworks and methodologies effectively
- Manage risks across the marketing organization
- Provide regular reporting on progress, financial results, and KPIs to Leadership
- Build best-in-class dashboards and analytics using PowerBI to support strategy and portfolio execution
- Develop executive-level presentation materials, performance reports, and handle ad-hoc analysis requests
- 8+ years of overall experience
- Strong background in PMO governance, business management, and program/portfolio delivery
- Proven experience in business casing, financial oversight, budgeting, and cost-benefit analysis
- Solid understanding of program delivery frameworks and methodologies
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders at various levels
- MBA preferred
- Business-oriented profile (non-core IT background)
- Hands-on experience with PowerBI development
- PMP certification
- Understanding of IFRS 17, capitalization policies, and revenue recognition
- Experience in operational and strategic projects
- Strong risk assessment and mitigation skills
- Strong business acumen with experience in PMO / governance roles
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with no “typical” day — strong self-management is essential
- Performance will be measured through weekly 1:1s, delivery framework, and end-to-end ownership
- Candidates with a core IT technical background or heavy technology delivery focus will not be considered. This role is business-focused within the Marketing organization.
