Pay Range: $35 to $45 an hour. (Based on the experience)

Job Summary:

  • This role supports the development of sterile liquid drug products including solutions emulsions and suspensions within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • The position focuses on hands on laboratory experimentation formulation screening and process development activities including scale up and manufacturing support.
  • The Scientist will execute pre designed studies contribute to experimental design and support formulation optimization through data driven analysis.
  • The role requires strong collaboration with cross functional teams in research development and manufacturing to ensure robust and scalable product development.
  • This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality process efficiency and successful advancement of sterile liquid formulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory experiments to support sterile liquid formulation development under established protocols
  • Execute formulation screening studies and support experimental design activities including design of experiments
  • Perform analytical and physical characterization testing including pH osmolality and viscosity measurements
  • Support process development activities including sterile filtration autoclave processing and bulk sterilization
  • Assist in scale up activities for formulation processes from laboratory scale to pilot scale
  • Analyze experimental data and document results in electronic laboratory systems with accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including formulation process development and quality groups

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Pharmacy or related scientific discipline with 3 plus years of industry experience or Master degree with 1 to 2 plus years of industry experience
  • Hands on experience in sterile liquid formulation development in a regulated environment
  • Experience conducting laboratory experiments and generating technical scientific data
  • Strong understanding of formulation characterization techniques including pH osmolality and viscosity
  • Experience working with sterilization processes including filtration and autoclave methods
  • Ability to independently execute experiments and work in a laboratory R and D setting
  • Strong documentation data analysis and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with polymer science or material science systems
  • Exposure to high viscosity formulation systems or polymer based formulations
  • Experience supporting scale up activities in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with laboratory design of experiments methodology for formulation screening
