Pay Rang: $25hr-$27hr

Job Overview

We are seeking a NextGen Operations Technician / NOC Technician to support high-availability environments within a Network Operations Center. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network and system issues supporting critical infrastructure and cloud-based environments

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network and system events and respond to incidents
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues within defined SLAs
• Manage and update tickets in ServiceNow (Incident, Change, Problem)
• Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues
• Communicate status updates to stakeholders during incidents
• Manage escalations and coordinate with external vendors
• Support continuous improvement of operational processes

 Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in network or technical support
• Experience troubleshooting:
• Routers, switches, servers, and endpoints
• Knowledge of networking protocols:
• VPN, BGP, MPLS, SIP
• Ability to read and understand network diagrams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work evening/night shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a NOC or telecom environment
• CCNA or similar certification
• ITIL knowledge or certification
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred)

Technical Skills

• Networking: TCP/IP, VPN, routing, switching
• Tools: ServiceNow, monitoring tools
• Infrastructure: Hybrid and cloud-based systems
