About the Role
Day to Day:

Serve as first point of contact for vulnerability and patching questions from application teams
-
Triage and route vulnerability remediation issues in ServiceNow
-
Partner with engineering/ops teams to drive patching and remediation to completion
-
Act as SME on OS patching processes, data, and stakeholders
-
Support Mattermost / tech support channels for vulnerability questions
-
Write and maintain knowledge articles (how-to’s, remediation guidance, FAQs)
-
Analyze vulnerability data and reporting trends to identify gaps or delays
-
Identify and recommend process + automation improvements
-
Coordinate across CTI/APSE, app teams, InfoSec, and service providers
-
Escalate blockers and ensure remediation SLAs are met
Must Have:
-
ServiceNow Vulnerability Management experience (3+ years required)
-
Strong vulnerability remediation + OS patching experience (hands-on, not just governance)

Experience acting as a liaison / 1st line escalation point between app teams and engineering/operations

Ability to triage and resolve security vulnerability issues (or drive resolution via stakeholders)

Strong stakeholder management + communication skills (engaging app owners, ops, security teams)

Data analysis + reporting experience (vulnerability trends, patch status, remediation tracking)

5–10 years total experience in vulnerability management / security operations

Comfort working in fast-paced, matrixed enterprise environments
Compensation
Hourly Rate: 68$-70$ per hour
