Job Title: Material Coordinator / Material Handler

pay- rang: $23HR-$26HR

Job Description

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate production activities and material movement based on material requirements.
• Manage inventory of materials and parts within the assigned area.
• Process and track incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and completion.
• Identify material or part shortages, suggest solutions for routine issues, and escalate complex concerns.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to materials and product flow.
• Update and maintain databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables independently for assigned tasks.
• Adapt to changing priorities and handle pressure to meet deadlines effectively.
• Communicate status updates and potential risks or delays to the team lead.
• Follow all safety standards and protocols; proactively identify and report safety concerns.

Level of Responsibility:

• Works under close supervision with responsibility for individual tasks.
• Makes limited decisions; errors may impact timelines but are generally correctable.
• Requires basic verbal and written communication skills for routine updates.
• Handles multi-step tasks requiring planning and prioritization.
• Applies basic problem-solving skills to address moderately complex issues.
• Uses defined processes for troubleshooting, with occasional need for data analysis.
