Manual QA Tester 
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite – 3 days/week: Tue–Thu)

Pay Range: $40-42/hr 

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Tester to support testing of a data-heavy loyalty and rewards platform. The role focuses on validating transactions, points, calculations, and system integrations with high accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test cases from requirements
• Perform UAT and back-office testing
• Validate transactions, points, and business rules
• Conduct API testing (Postman/Insomnia)
• Run SQL queries for data validation
• Test integrations (including event-driven systems like Kafka)
• Log and track defects in Jira/Zephyr

Requirements:

• 5–7 years Manual QA experience (100% manual)
• Strong test case and defect reporting skills
• API testing experience (Postman or Insomnia)
• SQL for data validation
• Experience with data-heavy systems
• Exposure to Kafka or similar integrations
• Jira/Zephyr experience
• Ability to work independently

Nice to Have:

• Hospitality or loyalty/rewards domain experience
• Understanding of points, tiers, and rewards systems
• BrowserStack or Selenium exposure
