The Payroll Specialist will be a key member of the Total Rewards team. In this role, you will process payroll using Workday with a primary focus on delivering exceptional internal support and ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities

Perform accurate and timely day-to-day operation of payroll, time and attendance, and related functions for bi-weekly U.S. payrolls in Workday.

Monitor and reconcile payroll results, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions prior to finalization.

Serve as a liaison to Workday regarding new features, enhancements, and the resolution of payroll issues.

Use Workday EIBs to mass-upload data (e.g., employee data, pay inputs, off-cycle payments) while maintaining strong data quality controls.

Partner with Accounting for payroll reconciliation and to resolve discrepancies during month-end close; ensure accuracy of account posting rules for all on/off-cycle payments.

Work with HRIS to determine root causes of Total Rewards integration failures and drive resolution.
Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field.

5+ years of relevant experience in Payroll.

Experience with Workday Payroll is essential.

Experience in accounting is a plus.

CPP certification preferred.
