Position Title: Training Support Specialist
Duration: 6 months (Potential Extension/Conversion will be based on the performance)
Location: Scarborough, ME 04074 - Onsite
Pay Range: ($25-$30) hourly
Overview:
- Responsible for managing and supporting training compliance within the Quality System.
- This role ensures effective administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), maintains training records, and supports audit readiness in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) and training records
- Ensure compliance with Quality System training requirements and cGMP standards
- Provide subject matter expertise on learning processes and LMS usage
- Develop, review, and update training materials and documentation
- Coordinate training programs, resources, and train-the-trainer initiatives
- Monitor, report, and promote training activities across teams
- Partner with managers and stakeholders to improve training processes
- Support audit readiness and regulatory inspections
- Maintain training procedures and ensure adherence to compliance standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Engineering, HR, Business, Instructional Design, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in a regulated industry (medical device preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (QSR, ISO 13485, IVDR/IVDD, CMDR)
- Understanding of adult learning principles and training delivery methods
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance processes
