Job Summary:
We are seeking a Robotics Project Engineer to support enterprise level automation initiatives across multiple sites. This role involves driving robotics project execution from planning through implementation while ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong hands on experience in robotics platforms and a proven ability to deliver automation solutions in complex environments. This position requires collaboration with cross functional stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes. Experience in regulated industries and compliance driven environments will be highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support execution of robotics projects across multiple sites ensuring timely delivery and alignment with defined objectives.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project scope objectives and deliverables based on operational and technical needs.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors to resolve challenges and ensure seamless project execution.
- Communicate the value and impact of robotics initiatives including improvements in efficiency productivity and safety.
- Manage vendor relationships including selection procurement and performance evaluation.
- Provide hands on technical leadership including requirements gathering solution design and troubleshooting.
- Identify and evaluate future automation opportunities to support long term strategy and pipeline development.
- Collect feedback from sites to guide robotics and automation roadmap and improve operational readiness.
- Lead proof of concept initiatives to test new technologies in manufacturing logistics and laboratory settings.
- Travel within the United States as required to support project needs and site engagement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering Robotics Automation or related field
- Hands on experience with industrial robotics platforms such as KUKA, FANUC, UR, MiR or Otto
- Proven experience deploying robotics solutions in manufacturing logistics or laboratory environments
- Experience working in regulated industries with knowledge of GMP ISO FDA requirements and validation processes IQ, OQ, PQ.
- Strong project documentation risk assessment and compliance documentation experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharma biotechnology or medical device environments
- Background in applications engineering or sales engineering related to robotics
- Experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects across diverse environments
