Position: Refrigeration Technician (2 openings: Apprentice & Journeyman)
Location: Edgerton, KS
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Must be flexible for rotating weekend shifts (approx. 1 Saturday every few weeks)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire)
Start Date: ASAP

Compensation:

• Apprentice: $27/hr. - $56,160 Annually
• Journeyman: $30/hr. - $62,400 Annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximize fleet uptime and guarantee the integrity of refrigerated cargo by providing expert-level diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and high-quality repairs on specialized cooling systems and power units.

• Perform inspections and diagnostics on Thermo King and Carrier refrigerated containers
• Repair and maintain refrigeration units and portable gensets (mechanical & electrical)
• Prioritize and complete repairs in coordination with logistics teams
• Accurately document maintenance, repairs, and inventory usage

Requirements:

• Proven technical experience diagnosing and repairing Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration systems and Gensets.
• Strong proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical components within an industrial or shipping context.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and obtain forklift certification
• Must pass pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen (Strictly adhering to FRA cannabis-free regulations)

This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client.
