Pay Range: $30 to $35 an hour.

Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced procurement support professional to join a fast paced R&D operations environment. This role is responsible for supporting purchasing transactions, supplier coordination, invoice resolution, and order completion activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ERP systems, procure to pay workflows, and internal stakeholder support. This position requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Key Responsibilities:

• Create purchase requests and orders based on internal customer needs.
• Process transactions within ERP systems and purchasing tools.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve damaged materials, returns, and shipping issues.
• Track open purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely closure.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, and order values.
• Partner with finance and purchasing teams to resolve payment issues.
• Post receipts for goods and services accurately in internal systems.
• Support timely supplier payments and invoice processing.
• Provide responsive customer service to internal business teams.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma with 4 years relevant experience or Associate degree with 3 years relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement or payment systems experience.
• Experience creating shopping carts in ERP system tools.
• Experience resolving invoice issues in ERP finance systems.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or R&D environments.
• Experience with Ariba or Jaggaer systems.
• Experience supporting stockroom or materials operations.
• Advanced spreadsheet reporting skills.
