Title: Senior Systems Analyst/ Data and Application Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON or Winnipeg, MB- Hybrid -3 day's onsite per week, mandatory

Contract: 12-months

Compensation: $75-$80/hour

Start Date: First week of June

Interview Process: 1 Round- Virtual

Must Haves:

• Knowledge/Experience in all phases of a project life cycle.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills: Expresses ideas clearly, asks open-ended questions and reiterates to ensure understanding
• Hands on experience with database table design, maintenance, writing complex SQL queries and procedures. Hands-on experience with large dataset in the investment/insurance industry
• Demonstrate ability to follow best practices as defined by development and vendor teams.
• Ability to produce clear & concise documentation per standards (delivery framework) 
• Req/Design should leverage team SMEs and peers and follow a collaborative and iterative process
• Ability to learn and relate to business processes / knowledge in Analysis deliverables
• Has an advanced understanding of methodologies, tools, processes and practices pertaining to Business Analysis, Systems Development Life Cycle Methodology and process diagram tools.
• Apply technology concepts to business processes and can assess impact on function/system. 
• Can challenge technical team on design issues to ensure business needs are being met.

Nice to have:

• Experience with effective incident and problem management practices.
• Hands-on experience with the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) cloud platforms or other incentive compensation platforms. 
• Hands-on experience with SQL Querying on tables/databases
• Experience working in highly regulated industries
• Experience developing/delivering presentations to non-technical audience (bus. management)
• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence - can document progress and key notes appropriately in living documentation
• Can use AI to enhance work products & properly link/communicate through the MS suite
