- Excels in Python-based backend development
- Has deep experience building serverless, event-driven systems
- Is comfortable working across APIs, data services, and cloud infrastructure
- Can contribute to both new development and modernization efforts, including front-end improvements in Angular
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Python (backend) and Angular (frontend)
- Develop modular, reusable, and maintainable components across the stack
- Contribute to both new feature development and enhancements to existing systems
- Architect and develop serverless applications using Lambda
- Build and maintain event-driven, highly scalable backend services
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend and downstream integrations
- Ensure reliability, performance, and fault tolerance of backend systems
- Work extensively within the ecosystem, including:
- Lambda (core focus)
- RDS (SQL databases)
- S3 (object storage)
- Glue (data integration / ETL)
- CloudWatch (monitoring and logging)
- Participate in cloud architecture decisions and best practices
- Optimize cloud resource utilization, cost efficiency, and system performance
- Write and optimize SQL queries within RDS environments
- Ensure efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval
- Support data workflows and integrations using services like Glue
- Maintain and enhance Angular-based UI components
- Work within legacy Angular versions and contribute to modernization where possible
- Collaborate with UX/UI and product teams to improve user experience
- Partner with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver scalable solutions
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementations
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies
- 5–10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong full stack development experience in production environments
- Advanced proficiency in Python for backend development
- Hands-on experience working within cloud environments
- Deep experience with (serverless architecture) — most critical requirement
- Experience designing and building APIs (RESTful services)

Familiarity with core services
- Front-end experience with Angular (including working with legacy versions)
- Ability to work across backend, infrastructure, and frontend layers
