Position Details:

Title: Data and Analytics Manager/ Manager Operations Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON- 5 day's/week onsite

Salary: $100k-130k/Annum

Start Date: ASAP

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to solve business problems and deliver actionable insights
• Collaborate with Anil and senior leaders to define strategic direction, align data to business goals, and drive measurable results
• Act as the analytical “muscle” of the team — providing both technical depth and leadership oversight (60% technical / 40% leadership)
• Lead collaboration discussions that bridge data, strategy, and operations
• Build, expand, and mentor the analytics team; conduct code reviews and optimize solutions
• Leverage GCP (including BigQuery) to manage and analyze large datasets
• Work across enterprise systems including SAP, BI platforms, and mainframes
• Utilize SQL and Python for advanced data analysis, optimization, and algorithm evaluation
• Implement automation solutions (ETL, RPA) to improve efficiency and remove unproductive workflows
• Determine workforce inefficiencies and impingement time; identify areas of human waste
• Deliver insights in a clear, compelling narrative tailored for senior leadership
• Add governance layers to systems and analytics processes
• Contribute to the broader analytics community by sharing best practices and proposing improvements
• Offer both speed and analytical rigor in insight generation

Must Haves:

• Proven leadership experience building and growing analytics teams
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with GCP (preferred) and BigQuery
• Experience with BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
• Strong communication skills; ability to present to and influence senior leadership
• Graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field
• Strong foundation in data governance and analytical best practices

Nice to Haves:

• Exposure to Machine Learning and AI applications in analytics
• Startup experience leading and scaling analytics teams
• Proven track record delivering results in high-pressure, evolving environments
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and integrating multiple data sources
