- Experience dealing specifically with Land Work at the county level (i.e. Surface & Mineral Ownerships, Easements & Right-of-Way, Railroad Commission, Environmental Concerns, etc.)
- Above average understanding of County Records in regards to Land Work (i.e. Warranty Deeds, Easements & Right-of-Way, Encroachments, Modifications, Amendments, Memorandums, Condemnations, etc.)
- ArcPro (version 3.0)
- Experience in Database Management
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Mineral Rights, Land
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform GIS work in support of land-related initiatives, including review and interpretation of county-level documents such as surface and mineral ownerships, easements, rights-of-way, Bureau of Land Management and Railroad Commission data, and environmental constraints.
- Interpret and manage a variety of county records, including warranty deeds, encroachments, modifications, amendments, memorandums, and condemnation filings.
- Apply strong database management skill to maintain accuracy and consistency across geospatial and land-related datasets.
- Support day-to-day GIS operations, including map visualization, report generation, and data extractions.
- Create, correct, and manage spatial data; configure GIS applications and perform minor data edits as needed.
- Import and integrate external datasets into enterprise GIS systems.
- Participate in testing and validation of system changes, enhancements, and upgrades across GIS platforms.
- Track task progress, document standard operating procedures, and maintain consistent workflow standards.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews and flag issues with third-party data contributions.
