Job Title: Oracle Developer Role
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Client Industry: Banking
Duration: 12-18 Months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM PST
Must-Have Skills
- Expert in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL (latest versions)
- Strong hands-on with performance tuning (AWR, ASH, Explain Plan, query optimization, indexing)
- Deep understanding of Oracle architecture (memory, background processes)
- Experience in data modeling (ER diagrams, normalization)
- Proficiency in TOAD / OEM or similar tools
- Solid experience with MS SQL Server
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL & PL/SQL code
- Perform database performance tuning & query optimization
- Monitor database health, capacity, and performance metrics
- Analyze AWR/ASH reports and resolve bottlenecks
- Design and maintain data models and schemas
- Collaborate with teams on database design and enhancements
- Implement indexing strategies and performance improvements
- Support automation, deployments, and production issues
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $65 - $70 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
