Title: IT Project Manager (Payments / Delivery)

Duration: 6 months (possible extension)

Location: Toronto, ON- Hybrid In-office Wednesday, Thursday & every 4th Friday

Compensation: $60-70/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Interviews: 2 Rounds (1- Virtual and 1-In-person)

Day-to-Day:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects within the Global Payment Solution platform
• Work closely with Development and QA teams to resolve roadblocks and ensure smooth execution
• Coordinate across multiple teams, including downstream systems and intake teams
• Manage resource allocation across Dev and QA teams
• Provide regular updates to business stakeholders and leadership
• Support onboarding of new clients, payment rails, and product enhancements
• Ensure alignment with program timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones
• Identify and mitigate risks, including cost and resource constraints
• Work within fast-paced, high-volume delivery environments
• Collaboration with Program Manager and broader delivery teams
• Contribute to integration efforts across payment systems (Bank Wire, EFT, ACH)
• Support or contribute to cloud initiatives (e.g., on-prem to Azure migrations) where applicable

Must Haves:

• 7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager / Delivery Manager
• Strong delivery background, managing end-to-end project execution
• Experience delivering projects in the payments domain: Bank Wire, EFT, ACH (Credit Card is a plus)
• Experience working on payment system integrations and payment rails
• Experience managing projects in the $1M-$5M range
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (verbal & written)
• Experience coordinating across Development and QA teams
• Experience with resource planning and allocation
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Strong understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle and technical concepts

Pluses:

• Exposure to Global Payment platforms or similar large-scale systems
• Experience with Database migrations and application migrations to the Azure cloud
• Experience in onboarding new clients or integrating new payment rails
