Pay Range: $24 to $28 an hour.

Contract Duration: 12 Months (Possibilities of Extension based on performance and business needs.)

Job Summary:
This role supports cell culture process development within a biologics research and development setting in a large enterprise environment. The position focuses on maintaining laboratory operations, supporting bioreactor systems, and preparing media for cell culture activities. The candidate will work closely with scientists to ensure smooth execution of experiments and reliable data generation. This is a hands on laboratory role requiring strong attention to detail, consistency, and teamwork. The role plays a key part in enabling early stage biologics development and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support setup, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of bioreactor systems.
• Perform routine sampling and monitoring of ongoing cell culture processes.
• Prepare media, stock solutions, and carry out sterile filtration and aliquoting.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure availability of raw materials and consumables.
• Conduct routine calibration and verification of lab equipment including pH meters and analyzers.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment and glassware.
• Record and manage experimental data in both paper and electronic systems.
• Independently execute weekend sampling and feeding activities as required.
• Communicate operational issues and collaborate with team members to resolve them.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of cell biology principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Working knowledge of Enterprise tools.
• Basic laboratory experience in academic or industry settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with bioreactor systems.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques.
• Experience in biologics or pharmaceutical laboratory environments.
• Exposure to laboratory data management systems.
