• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Network Engineering.
• Experience: 5+ years of specialized experience with process data systems and industrial information networks.
• Networking Stack: Expert-level configuration of Cisco switches and routers, WAN, LAN, and VPNs.
• Virtualization Infrastructure: Proficiency in managing VMware, VXRail, and vSAN platforms, including host redundancy and high-availability configurations.
• Cybersecurity Compliance: Hands-on experience with patch management, RBAC, MFA, and Network Segmentation (zoning critical OT assets from IT networks).
• Industrial Protocols: Deep understanding of Modbus, OPC, and Industrial Ethernet.
• System Diagnostics: Proficiency using tools like Wireshark, SNMP, and system log analysis to troubleshoot complex communication failures.
• Administrative Skills: Strong experience in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy (GPO) for device management.
• Operations Support: Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring network bottlenecks to ensure continuous plant production.

• Certifications: Active CCNA (highly preferred) or specialized OT security certifications.
• Vendor Specifics: Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls (IT/OT) and VMware NSX.
• Industrial Software: Expertise in Honeywell Experion (DCS) domain management and communication protocols.
• Data Systems: Proficiency with process historians such as Honeywell Uniformance PHD or OSIsoft PI, including SQL and data visualization tools.
• Compliance Frameworks: Direct experience applying ISA99 / IEC 62443 or NIST SP 800-82 standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Disaster Recovery: Proven track record in designing and executing disaster recovery plans specifically for Virtual Machines (VMs) and critical control systems.
