Pay Range: $32 - $38/Hr
Mission:
-
Creates and updates sketches, working drawings and contract documents using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software.

Prepares 2D and 3D models.
-
Must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets and supplier specifications.

Requires familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology.

Able to read engineering drawing and blueprints.
-
Prepares documentation to support design drawings.
-
Often requires experience with the specific design application in use by client base.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
-
Create and update 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software

Read and interpret engineering blueprints, data sheets, and customer requirements

Prepare and organize contract documents and supporting design documentation
-
Revise existing drawings based on engineer direction or design changes
-
Cross-reference drawings against specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
Must-Have Qualifications:

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
-
Familiarity with drafting techniques and basic engineering concepts

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation
