Job Title: Java OpenShift developer

Duration:12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)

About the Role:

We are looking for a strong Java OpenShift Developer with hands-on experience in building scalable microservices and deploying applications on Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate should have deep backend development expertise using Java and Spring Boot along with strong cloud-native development experience.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot
• Build and deploy microservices on Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms
• Work with Docker containers and manage containerized deployments
• Develop and enhance REST APIs for enterprise applications
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline implementations using Jenkins/GitHub Actions
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization activities
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, Architects, and Business teams
• Support cloud/hybrid infrastructure deployments and environment configurations
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for sprint planning and delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Solid experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Experience working in cloud or hybrid environments
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $60 – $65 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
