Job Title: Senior Monitoring Architect

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Monitoring Architect to lead enterprise-wide monitoring and observability initiatives across critical applications and infrastructure environments. This role will focus on monitoring architecture, observability strategy, application onboarding, and establishing enterprise monitoring standards across cloud, containerized, and on-prem platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in monitoring tools, application instrumentation, alerting strategies, and enterprise production support environments. Experience monitoring 365 services, including Teams and Copilot, is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and lead enterprise monitoring and observability architecture
• Drive end-to-end onboarding of applications into enterprise monitoring platforms
• Define and standardize monitoring frameworks, instrumentation, alerting, tagging, and dashboards
• Architect scalable monitoring solutions using tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Tivoli Monitoring, Catchpoint, SiteScope, or similar tools
• Partner with development, infrastructure, and production support teams to implement monitoring best practices
• Lead monitoring strategy for 365 services including Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and Copilot
• Support monitoring solutions across AWS, Kubernetes, cloud, and on-prem environments
• Establish governance and monitoring standards across enterprise applications
• Define KPIs and metrics to track monitoring effectiveness and onboarding progress
• Provide architectural guidance for production monitoring and observability initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience in Monitoring Architecture, Observability, or Production Systems Architecture
• Strong hands-on experience onboarding applications into enterprise monitoring platforms
• Expertise in monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk,
• Tivoli Monitoring, Catchpoint, or SiteScope
• Experience defining instrumentation standards, monitoring frameworks, and alerting strategies
• Strong understanding of 365 monitoring (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Copilot)
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud/containerized environments
• Knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux, and N-tier application architectures
• Programming or scripting experience with Java or .NET
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and production support environments

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $65 – $70 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
