Job Title: Commissions Administrator
Location: Remote Role in Canada
Duration: 06 Months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance)
Pay Rate: ($20-$21) hourly
Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Commissions Operations Specialist to support the processing and reconciliation of compensation activities related to insurance and investment products.
- This role involves reviewing compensation data, validating funding records, maintaining accurate documentation, resolving discrepancies, and supporting commission processing activities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Research, prepare, and maintain compensation data and spreadsheets for processing
- Reconcile deposits/funding against compensation records
- Process commissions according to scheduled compensation cycles
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping of compensation data and updates
- Communicate with third-party vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve compensation-related issues and deficiencies
- Support cross-functional teams and assist with ad hoc projects as needed
- Cross-train across multiple functions within the Commissions department
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of relevant operations, finance, accounting, or commissions experience
- Strong attention to detail and math aptitude
- Intermediate Excel and MS Office skills
Preferred Background:
- Experience in commissions processing, reconciliation, financial operations, insurance operations, or payment administration is a plus.
