Job Title: Safety Specialist 

Location: Mont Belvieu, TX 77523 

Schedule:  

• Mon - Thurs 7am-4pm CST 

• Friday 7am - 11am CST 

Duration: 3-6 Months Contract 

Pay Range: $33 - $38 per hour

Mission:  

• The Safety Specialist will support safe and compliant operations by managing regulatory compliance, process safety initiatives, audits, investigations, and incident reporting within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role will ensure OSHA 1910/119 standards, response plans, and safety documentation processes remain fully supported while providing critical coverage for a team member on leave. 

Day to day: 

• Support first-response documentation and help ensure all response plans, action plans, and compliance processes are fully maintained and up to date 

• Experience with OSHA regulations (1910/ 119 general industry, NOT 1926) 

• Process knowledge with crude, or fractionation, etc. 

• PSM- Process Safety Management, PHA's and MOC's 

• Enter data for intendents, incident investigation, audits in the field, collecting data- this person will be responsible for that whole process. They will not be the person called for incidents just helping with back office. 

• Sharepoint Site, Power App program where they document regulatory compliance and safety departments 

• Maximo for incident reporting 

Must haves: 

• 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Specialist, ES&H Specialist, Process Safety Specialist (Does not want someone in construction) in field setting 

• Bachelor's degree or associates (can be ANY degree)
