Job Title: Senior Manager – Architectural Design

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Architectural Design to support renovation, conversion, and new construction projects within the hospitality sector. This role is responsible for reviewing architectural plans, conducting site visits, developing Property Improvement Plans (PIP), and ensuring projects meet established design and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial architecture experience, project management expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and design submissions for renovation and construction projects.
  • Conduct property site visits and prepare detailed Property Improvement Plans (PIP).
  • Develop conceptual and creative design solutions for renovation and development projects.
  • Ensure compliance with design guidelines, operational standards, and construction requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects across various stages of development and construction.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update prototype plans, specifications, and design documentation.
  • Create renderings, sketches, diagrams, and presentation materials using industry-standard design software.
  • Perform construction site reviews to verify compliance with approved plans and standards.
  • Support and mentor junior team members while improving internal workflows and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in commercial architecture.
  • Experience with hospitality, multifamily, retail, renovation, and new construction projects preferred.
  • Architectural licensure preferred but not required.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, architectural standards, and design development processes.
  • Proficient in Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
