Job Description:
Job Title: Social Media Content Creator
Client: Consumer Packaged Goods
Work location: Chicago, IL 60607 - Hybrid 
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Duration: 03 months from start date
Pay Range: $26/hr. - $28/hr.
Travel: Up to 25% (not likely that much) maybe once a quarter
 
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation (90%)
  • Create engaging, thumb-stopping social media content for platforms.
  • Develop both static and short-form video content aligned with brand voice and current trends
  • Appear on camera in brand videos, social posts, and creative campaigns as needed

Community Management (10%)

  • Monitor and engage with audiences across social platforms using social media management tools

Qualifications:

  • 1–2+ years of social media content creation experience
  • Acting, theatre, or on-camera performance experience strongly preferred
  • Experience creating and starring in social media content/videos
  • Strong graphic design and video editing skills
  • Proficiency with creative design and video editing tools
  • Deep understanding of social media trends, platform best practices, and audience engagement
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills
  • Creative storyteller with a strong social-first mindset
  • Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera
  • Passionate about pop culture, trends, and digital storytelling
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Portfolio showcasing social media content, design work, or video projects required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
