Position – Senior Java Engineer 

Location – Toronto, ON 

Duration – Contract – 6 months + extension possibilities 

Pay – DOE - $75 - $125/hr

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices 
• Deploy applications within AWS cloud environments 
• Work with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) 
• Support EKS/Kubernetes deployments 
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions 
• Contribute to modernization and cloud migration initiatives 
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance 

Must-Have Skills 

• 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience 
• Strong Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices expertise 
• Deep AWS experience 
• Hands-on Terraform knowledge (modules, state files, variables, resources) 
• Experience with EKS/Kubernetes
• Strong software design and problem-solving skills 
• SQL/database experience 
• Excellent communication skills 

Nice-to-Have Skills 

• Lambda, SQS, ArgoCD exposure 
• Basic Python scripting 
• CI/CD and DevOps exposure 
• Financial services or Capital Markets experience 
• Cloud modernization or migration project experience
