Job Title: Structural Engineer

Salary - $100,000- $150,000

Job Overview: 

We are looking for a?Senior Structural Engineer?with a minimum 5 years of experience for our LA – Woodland Hills office, who wants to work and grow as a team player within our progressive multi-discipline firm. The successful individual will be a licensed engineer with solid experience in the design of steel, concrete and wood commercial/institutional buildings. 

Day to Day: 

• Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of commercial & institutional building projects. 

• Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings. 

• Contribute to project teams of engineers, designers and drafters to execute structural designs. 

• Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design. 

• Interface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications. 

• Work closely with the Discipline Manager to support the needs of the department, projects, and growth objectives. 

Must Haves: 

• B.S. degree in Civil or Structural engineering. 

• PE license (any state) 

• 5 or more years of experience with design of concrete, steel, and timber structures. 

• Ability to work independently with proper engineering oversight. 

• Ability to work and collaborate in larger project teams. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Plusses: 

• Registered CA Structural Engineer (SE) 

• M.S. degree in Structural Engineering or related field. 

• Multi-discipline project management experience. 

• Experience with DSA and OSHPD. 

• Experience with 3D modeling software (ETABS, RISA, SAFE).
