About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong backend engineering expertise and deep knowledge of Teradata and SQL to support large-scale enterprise applications and data-driven systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys solving performance challenges, and has hands-on experience working with high-volume backend processing and database-intensive applications.

The ideal candidate will be technically strong in Java backend development, database integration, SQL optimization, and enterprise application support. You will work closely with engineering and data teams to build scalable solutions, optimize system performance, and support critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level backend applications using Java
• Build and optimize complex SQL queries and Teradata-based solutions
• Develop scalable APIs and backend services for high-volume applications
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting
• Work with large datasets and distributed systems in enterprise environments
• Support application enhancements, defect fixes, and production support activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions
• Ensure application performance, stability, and maintainability across systems

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java development
• Extensive experience in backend application development
• Strong expertise in Teradata
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications
• Strong understanding of APIs, multithreading, and distributed systems
• Experience with database performance tuning and data analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $60 – $65 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
