Job Summary
This Payroll Analyst will be responsible for processing and correcting payroll transactions for specific countries as assigned (generally smaller, less complex countries or assisting with larger, more complex countries), supporting pre and post payroll activities, year-end payroll activities, reviewing and verifying files generated internally or by global payroll vendors, enforcing key payroll , as well as answering employee/manager queries.

  • Payroll E2E Processing with Workday Payroll system for large companies with multiple company codes and operations across all 50 states
  • Experience with integrations and vendor payment processes
  • Knowledge of payroll-related laws and scenarios such as Termination, LOA, Overpayment, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and validate payroll files (e.g., Payroll Reconciliation File, Bank File) and reports generated internally or by payroll vendors and approve for processing.
  • Support pre and post payroll activities and payroll audits.
  • Learn and utilize software tools supporting data extraction, audit controls, and data quality alerts.
  • Navigate within the Workday environment and analyze extracted data.
  • Participate in training and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
  • Operate with broad latitude for judgment under general supervision.
  • Generate reports, analyze data, and identify issues.
  • Resolve input errors from third-party vendors or internal stakeholders through root cause analysis.
  • Support year-end payroll processing activities.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
  • Support wire funding payments and payroll reporting activities.
  • Process overpayments and severance transactions.
  • Maintain thorough audit trails and organized documentation.
  • Support audit requests with reports and evidence.
  • Answer employee and manager payroll queries.
  • Some travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Finance or Accounting.
  • Payroll operations experience and payroll processing with third-party vendors.
  • Working knowledge of ADP, SuccessFactors, Ceridian, and Workday Payroll.
  • Experience integrating with third-party applications.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and process diagnostic abilities.
