At Collabera, we come together as colleagues and friends to support the communities where we work and live; whether it be from our headquarters in New Jersey, our local offices across the US, to cities in India.
Another initiative dear to our hearts is our fight against cancer. We joined forces with The Leukemia &Lymphoma Society. As a company, Collabera raised over $115,000 nationwide to support blood cancer research. Across the U.S., we came together in support of the cause, to raise funds and participate in walks across Boston, Detroit, Denver, and Sacramento. We also added an element of fun. We had challenges like hot wing eating contests, pie-in-the-face games, and office happy hours to boost the appeal. It was all with one goal in mind – raising awareness and funds in the fight against cancer.
Every November, we host Collabera Day – a day of giving back to local communities. Our people in local offices gather for service projects that are important to the heart of the team. We’ve provided extra sets of hands volunteering at local food banks, animal shelters, and environmental groups.
Collabera supports One Tree Planted, a leading charity working on global reforestation. We started by planting 500 trees to offset the number of business cards printed over the past 25 years. Plus, we eliminated paper business cards in favor of digital. Next, we planted 1,100 fruit trees to promote sustainable biodiversity, erosion control and community throughout the villages of Palwal in India. In addition, Collabera funded the planting of nearly 4,000 trees in 13 regions across the United States as a thank you to our clients for their continued support and partnership. Plus, the trees were planted in regions near our client’s locations to bring it closer to home. That comes to 5,521 trees planted worldwide in just one year!
For Earth Day, Collabera employees participated in cleanups across their local communities. Across greenways, parks, rivers, and roadways, 200 employees came together, volunteering 480 hours, and picking up 140 bags of trash.
