Job Description:

• Processes corporate actions related transactions including stock splits, inputting data in to an in-house system, looking for discrepancies.

• Performs investigations and reconciliations of securities. 

• Significant independent judgment is used with some general direction given by supervisor.

Key Accountabilities:

• Process specialized transactions, inputting data in to an in-house system, looking for discrepancies as well as investigations and reconciliations

• Provide a high level of customer service in accordance with the client's Investor Services’ Standards and Complaint Resolution Procedures by interacting with personnel from various institutions.

• To correct transaction/ trading activity related issues concerning settlement of transactions

• Perform other administrative functions as required.

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance

• 2-4 years financial services experience or knowledge

• Experience in financial services industry – would be an asset

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of specialty transaction guidelines and systems

• Advanced user proficiency with computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, spreadsheet/financial accounting skills, and any other related accounting software

• Knowledge of financial systems – would be an asset
