Research & Advanced Analytics Consultant

Description:

Their Main Job is to develop Applications
Understanding Business Problems, conceptualize Maths, formulating optimization problems, do coding
Primary Language - Java
Cloud Experience - Azure, Databricks (preferred)
Mathematical Modeling shall play a key role here
Will work under the supervision of Sr. Folks
If not having Master's Degree, should have some courses done in Mathematical Area since the depth of experience is required here
Specific Job Titles - Data Scientist or Quantitative Folks
Open for undergraduates who has some relevancy but should come from the Background of Mathematics
Problem they will be working on is long range maintainence planes/aircraftts
They have a group working on the prototype version of it
FICO Xpress, CPLEX etc.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s/PhD degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics)
Experience with at least one Object Oriented programming language (e.g., C++, Java)
Depth of knowledge in at least one OR skill area (e.g., optimization, simulation, statistics)
Practical experience with data extraction, cleaning, and analysis
Demonstrated aptitude for independent learning, logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a technical professional environment
2+ years of experience developing and implementing large scale optimization models using MIP and heuristics
2+ years of experience in Java
Experience in using cloud platforms and parallel processing to scale model development/ deployment
