Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction
• Purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization's best interest
• Prepare purchase orders, approve payments, and negotiate prices under general guidance
• Compile price proposals, financial reports, and other data to provide input on reasonable prices
• Prepare requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts
• Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with obligations
• Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to resolve issues such as shortages and late deliveries
• Work autonomously with limited supervision and influence others within the work area Education

Qualification:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience working within Supply Chain
• AA or Bachelor's degree is not required, but experience in purchasing and procurement is essential

Required Skills:

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis.

Payrange - 30$/hr. to 35$/hr.
