Title - Supply Chain - Purchasing/Procurement

Duration - 9 Months (Possible Extension / Conversion)

Location - Everett, WA - 98204

Pay Range - $33/hr. - $36/hr. 

About the Role:

• We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Procurement/Purchasing Associates to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and common sense to carry out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans.
• This role will report to the program buyer and requires experience in purchasing and procurement.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction
• Purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization’s best interest
• Prepare purchase orders, approve payments, and negotiate prices under general guidance
• Compile price proposals, financial reports, and other data to provide input on reasonable prices
• Prepare requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts
• Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with obligations
• Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to resolve issues such as shortages and late deliveries
• Work autonomously with limited supervision and influence others within the work area

Education Qualification:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience working within Supply Chain
• AA or Bachelor's degree is not required, but experience in purchasing and procurement is essential
