Job Title: Network Test Engineer / Software Tester / Application Tester / Software Engineer 
Location: Remote Role
Duration: 3+ Months Contract Role
 
Job Description: 
  • Test applications (ex, Facebook, Gmail, zoom,...) using browsers and/or mobile devices.
  • Capture the traffic on the firewall
  • Analyze the captured traffic using Wireshark and look for unique patterns to identify this traffic. Write signatures using the patterns found
  • Conduct unit testing on the signatures to make sure the application can be identified on the firewall
Skills:     
  • Layer 7 protocols such as http analysis
  • Wireshark
  • Network security
Education:  
  • College degree in computer science-related fields
