Summary:

  • Assist the Home Mortgage Consultants with setting up new customers by starting the application process with them.

 

Day to day:

  • This position will be handling a combination of 100-150 inbound and outbound calls a day.
  • The goal of this position is to walk the customer through the Home Mortgage application process over the phone before transferring them over to a Home Mortgage Consultant that will complete the process.
  • The representative will walk the customer through the application with the assistance of a script and then put them on hold to give the Home Mortgage Consultant a summary of their call before transferring them over.
  • The representatives will occasionally need to transfer calls that to other departments when a customer calls the wrong line and do so with a positive attitude.
  • Will make a couple of telemarketing calls to sell their Mortgage services to potential buyers that may not be familiar with their services.

 

Must haves:

  • 1+ years of Customer Service Experience (no retail or restaurant experience unless you have an existing relationship with the candidate and can speak on their abilities)
  • Inbound and Outbound calls
  • Multitasking skills (can talk on the phone while entering notes to the computer)
  • Communication skills

 

Plusses:

  • Call center experience (1-2 years)
