Title: Financial Accountant (Canada, US, UK, Ireland)

Location: Woodbridge, ON (Hybrid)

Contract: 12-18 months

Role Responsibilities:

Perform daily accounting duties for four operating companies in Canada, US, UK and Ireland
Manage full cycle of AP, AR and GL which include Sales Order and Purchase Order input
Prepare general ledger entries and reconciliations
Prepare analysis of general ledger, invoices, or payroll accounts, including compiling budget or costing information and reconciling balance sheet accounts on a period by period basis
Prepare working papers for Canada GST/HST, US states filings

Qualifications:

Hold a designation or working towards or Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant progressive experience in the technology sector
Skilled in interpreting and applying accounting and auditing principles
Outstanding analysis and problem-solving skills
Strong computer and systems skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organization skills
Knowledge of ERP system is considered an asset
Self-starter, with proven time-management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines
Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
Ability to work independently
