Position Details:  

Client:        Banking 

Role:           Python Developer

Terms:        12- 18 months contract OR CTH 

Location:    Charlotte, NC & Addison, TX

MUT HAVES

• 7+ years of hands-on experience using python in development and managing python based enterprise application.
• Strong Knowledge of of Python Frame work ( DJANGO) – MUST HAVE
• Strong knowledge of developing REST APIs using Python.
• Proficiency/experience with containers (OpenShift/Kubernetes )
  
  

Pluses
• Experience with No-SQL (Elastic, Marklogic, MongoDB) etc.

• Backend developer in J2EE technologies and framework like Spring, JDBC, SOAP/REST API, etc. for integration.

Day to Day

• Be able to interface with users and other team members, understand the requirements and convert the specifications into a robust architecture that is practical and provides a solid foundation for future development.
• Understand Bank technology stack and ensure that architecture aligns to it.
• Be able to articulate trade-offs between various proposed strategies.
• Resource will be aligned to work-streams that develop practical solutions for Global Banking and also help with developing strategies for pushing the bar on the innovation work being done by the team.
• Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives.
• May lead a team of software engineers as some point.
