About the Role:

  • We are looking for a PD Associate Scientist (Process Analytics) to join our Attribute Sciences department in Cambridge, MA.
  • The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry and at least 1 year of scientific experience.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for providing testing support for commercial process development and process characterization studies for clinical candidate molecules in the pivotal stage of development.

Responsibilities:

  • Transition analytical methods from early-stage development teams to the pivotal testing laboratory
  • Perform high-sample volume testing using HPLC, UHPLC, CE, and Tecan Document analyses in electronic lab notebook and track method performance
  • Evaluate novel platform methodologies to improve testing efficiencies Collaborate with partner organizations during commercial process development and validation studies
  • Conduct forced degradation studies to support product characterization and stability evaluation

Education Qualification:

  • B.S. in Chemistry and Biochemistry

Required Skills:

  • Good general biochemistry laboratory skills
  • Working knowledge of chromatography techniques (HPLC, UPLC, CE) Familiarity with compendial methods testing
  • Strong desire to learn and interest in science
  • Proficiency in test methodology execution
  • Background in chromatography data software and/or automation software
  • Understanding of GMP compliance and documentation
  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask and work independently or in teams
