Position Details:

Title: Litigation Attorney
Location: Remote
Duration: 2-3 months (Possible extension/conversion)
Pay Range: $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Position Details :

• Provide strategic guidance and counseling to a range of teams and stakeholders across Workday in matters relating to litigation and dispute resolution.
• With direction from the team, manage and drive Workday’s commercial and intellectual property litigation cases from complaint to conclusion, collaborating with internal and outside counsel, specific subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
• Provide advice and sometimes lead response to cybersecurity incidents.
• Provide pragmatic, trusted advice to business stakeholders on litigation risk and mitigation opportunities.
• Handle pre-litigation disputes and devise creative resolution strategies.
• Investigate and evaluate third-party claims.
• Advise on complex intellectual property, litigation, and dispute resolution issues in commercial transactions, licensing, and M&A
  Support special projects as needed.

Required Skills & Experience :

• J.D. Degree and membership in at least 1 state bar in good standing
• Excellent academic credentials
• Detail oriented with outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Critical thinker and problem solver
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience leading litigation tasks, discovery management/collection, and working effectively with other attorneys and paralegals.
• Experience with SaaS, web technologies, cloud technologies/platforms and/or the mobile space.
• Cybersecurity experience is a plus (but not required)
