Position Details:                                             

Position: Sr. Python Developer 

Location: Chicago and Atlanta 

Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)                   

Must Haves:   

• 7+ years of hands-on experience using python in development and managing python-based enterprise application. 
• Strong Knowledge of Python Framework (Django)
• Strong knowledge of developing REST APIs using Python. 
• Proficiency/experience with containers (OpenShift/Kubernetes) 

Day To Day:  

• Be able to interface with users and other team members, understand the requirements and convert the specifications into a robust architecture that is practical and provides a solid foundation for future development 
• Be able to articulate trade-offs between various proposed strategies 
• Resource will be aligned to work-streams that develop practical solutions and help with developing strategies for pushing the bar on the innovation work being done by the team 
• Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives 
• May lead a team of software engineers as some point.
